Blazing light illuminates the rubble around me
Warming the grey
I lift my head from the dirt
A tear leaks from my eyes
Producing a tiny, delicate flower
In its wet patch of soil
The light intensifies
Fully illuminating me
My tears begin to flow
And in their wake, a magnificent garden of flowers
I cry out in pain
Joyful pain
The rubble is gone
Overgrown by beautiful flowers of all colours
Radiantly lit from above
I gaze up
At His glorious light
And see a hand outstretched
It has a hole in it
My tear stained fingers grasp His
And He pulls me into the light.
