The Lord gives

And the Lord has taken away

How warm is your presence!

Teach me to be found in You

To be content in the knowledge that I am your child

To be grounded in Your love

Your sweet, tender, perfect love

The Lord has taken away

From dust I came, and to dust I will return

But God’s love is steadfast

It endures forever.
