I started writing poetry in April of 2025, and it filled a much needed creative hole in my life. I wrote one every day for the first two weeks, and what I thought would be a phase became a genuine passion. I really enjoy the quiet, reflective space poems remind me to step into, and the freedom that is provided by a medium that isn't constrained by rules.

I use the words 'poem' and 'psalm' very lightly - what I write is held to a low standard and a much better term would be 'prose'. Many are prayers or observations, and most of them are just free flowing thoughts direct from my brain, with very little filter. Some of them are deep, others are shallow, and each one can be interpreted as you like. 

I've also added a 'context' section underneath some of the poems. This is mostly so that I remember the background info for them, and also gives me a chance to write a little more about the subjects mentioned.
